WORKSPACE
Editorial magazine documenting five articles published from the Fast Company website from 2023. The purpose of this project is to take existing articles and images published from an online site and turn the content into a magazine-style publication using the same content and new visual layouts. I chose to focus on selecting articles published surrounding the concept of the workplace and design industry. I target my book towards emerging designs and people in the creative field who are navigating how to adjust to the current workplace environment.
TIME STOPS
"Time Stops" is a field guide that is designed with the parameters of researching a particular space that include a river and connects to Lake Ontario. The project is designed to take the information gathered through observation and research and provide a variety of different mapping tools to further analyze the space. For this project, I decided to focus on Mississauga's Credit River and the Port Credit area located at the intersection of Mississauga Road and Lakeshore. The final field guide is delivered in a book publication that is divided into a variety of sections such as landmarks, human interactivity, nature, and history. In this, I am able to include a variety of mapping tools and visual graphics to hone in on the concept of how space holds history and evolution.
