WOMEN IN THE CANADIAN WORKPLACE
The animation video contextualizes the numbers behind the amount of women working in Canada as well as the conditions in the labour market for women. All information and contextualization of data is taken from a variety of different sources but primarily uses data from Statistics Canada. The goal for the final product is to emphasizes the positive increase in Canadian women workers but also, raise awareness for the challenges they face such as workplace harassment and gender wage gap. The intentions is for the audience to easily gain an understanding of the numbers while acknowledging the changes that need to be done to create a more equitable workplace environment for women in Canada.
