ABOUT US
Hum is a wellness brand that produces brace and mobilty assistance products that gear away from medical and negative uses of aids instead promoting health activity among elders. Through an extensive amount of research, it is evident that mobility benefits a variety of different sectors including both mental and physical health of elders. Even thought most of these products exists in current retailers, they are catered to people experiencing pain or are recovering from an event. They do not promote utilizing the products as preventatives to reduce chances of getting hurt and promote safe mobility.
The goal is to also raise for health aging by partnering with an existing organization #OlderNotOver that focuses on reducing stereotypes of aging. With this partnership, $1 spent on the products are donated back to the organization.
Hum graphics are designed to be playful, inviting, highly legible, informative, and with great contrast. the packaging is designed with easy open pull-tabs and contrasting colours for easy differentiation between products on shelves. These visual ques are important when designing for accessibility to bring high legibility to all.
